Course Overview

The processes covered include planning and preparing for facilitation, advanced facilitation skills and the evaluation of interventions.

Learning Outcomes

• Demonstrate an understanding of outcomes based learning where learners draw from and share their own experiences as well work out an apply context specific knowledge;
• Analyse learners and stakeholder needs to reveal key elements of learning required;
• Differentiate between different learning styles and how these may be accommodated;
• Co-ordinate resources, locations and personnel to suit intended delivery;
• Use a range of learning materials to stimulate interactive and developmental learning;
• Use questioning techniques to promote learner involvement;
• Create and monitor shared understanding of expectations and intended outcomes;
• Review own facilitation to improve future interventions.

Duration

This course includes:

• 2 days contact time including facilitation and group activities
