Course Overview
Very few people feel entirely uncomfortable in making a business presentation. Fear and uncertainty are some of the primary causes of this. However, be assured even the most experienced presenters feel symptoms of fear before and during presentations. The key to success is to harness this energy and use strategic approaches to produce extraordinary results. This course focuses on the efficient and effective preparation of a strategic presentation designed to achieve the desired outcomes. It looks closely at the various strategies presenters need to employ in order to either inform, influence, persuade or inspire and motivate and provides a clear structure that builds confidence and success.

- Know the differences between delivering strategic presentations versus training and meetings
- Conduct an audience analysis
- Prepare a strategic presentation (plan, structure, process, logistics and protocol)
- Organise appropriate supporting material
- Deliver the professional and effective presentation by:
- Applying appropriate techniques to manage stress
- Managing nerves and challenges when giving a presentation
- Receiving and responding appropriately to feedback on the presentation
- Managing time effectively
- Recalling the principles of what not to do when delivering a presentation;
- Introducing and concluding a presentation effectively and appropriately
- Identifying and using appropriate language and jargon
- Applying the principles and skills to project your voice effectively
- Reading and using body language effectively
- Using PowerPoint presentations and other supporting technology
