Accommodation in Johannesburg

In order to help make your time with us as easy to plan as possible, especially for those from outside central Gauteng, we provide an accommodation booking service with selected partner hotels only.

We have built relationships with several establishments, in order for you to make an informed accommodation choice according to taste and budget.

Bookings

You may book accommodation directly with your preferred hotel or through your own bookings agency but you will be subject to their standard tarriffs and will be responsible for settling the bill directly with that establishment or agency. If you do make your own accommodation arrangement, please ensure that you have your own transport arrangement to travel between Regenesys and your hotel.

For bookings made through Regenesys with one of our Accommodation Partners, where possible, Regenesys has arranged special discounted package rates which you will be entitled to as long as you are attending one of our courses. Package rates include bed, breakfast and supper only (unless otherwise stated). Not all accommodation partners offer discounts.

Anything billed over the package rate is not chargeable to Regenesys and must be settled directly with the hotel prior to checkout on the last day. This includes but is not limited to travel, food or other personal expenses incurred prior to checking into, or after checking out of the hotel. These extra expenses are your responsibility to claim back directly from your organisation.

A deposit may be requested by the hotel should extra sevices be requested. Accommodation bookings made through Regenesys will be included on your Regenesys course invoice and are payable to Regenesys, not the hotel.

Cancellation fees for booked but unwanted accommodation may be payable. These are all set by the relevant hotel and beyond Regenesys’ control. Please refer to the appropriate hotel’s details for further information..

Special Check-in Arangements

The Holiday Inn Garden Court Sandton have a check-in time of 18h00. Please call them directly on 011 884 5660, if you are unable to make the check-in time. Failure to inform them or meet the check-in time may result in the booking being cancelled.

The Holiday Inn Garden Court Morningside have a check-in time of 18h00. Please call them directly on 011 884 1804, if you are unable to make the check-in time. Failure to inform them or meet the check-in time may result in the booking being cancelled.

Meals

Unless stipulated, accommodation booked through Regenesys includes breakfast and supper. Some meals are subject to a set menu or buffet as part of a package deal. Food ordered over and above the single package rate is not chargeable to Regenesys and must be settled by you.

Bed & Breakfast meals are generally regarded as ‘home cooking’ so please don’t expect a full menu.

Transport

As we have several accommodation options, for your own convenience, we urge you to use your own transport to and from Regenesys. If making your own accommodation arrangements, you are responsible for your own transport to and from Regenesys. We may be able to help those with no transport at all – but for logistics planning, only if you are staying at a partner establishment.

Please allow for rush hour travel time constraints.

The Holiday Inn and The Don can arrange a shuttle service to and from Johannesburg International for a very reasonable fee. This is not included in any Regenesys price package.

Partners

Regenesys is in no way affiliated with our accommodation partners. Grievances regarding service should be directed to the accommodation management in question – but we also appreciate your direct feedback. The list of non-partners is purely to give you a choice of local numbers to call. They have no booking or package agreement with Regenesys.

Garden Court Sandton

Single room Regenesys rate: R1 537 per night including breakfast and supper.
Double room per person Regenesys rate: R1 537 per night including breakfast and supper.

The Garden Court Sandton is diagonally opposite Sandton City in a secure office Park. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, DSTV, digital safe, modem point and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has an outdoor pool, free secure parking and is within walking distance of all Sandton amenities. Breakfast and supper are buffet meals or as indicated by the hotel. You may be provided meal vouchers or similar that will indicate the pre-paid value of your meal. An airport shuttle bus can be arranged with the hotel at your expense

IMPORTANT: Check-in must be by 18h00 on the day of arrival. If you are unable to make this time, you must phone the hotel on 011 884 5660 and inform them of your intended arrival time. Failure to notify the hotel and arrive after the check-in time may result in the booking being reallocated to another guest.

Garden Court Morningside

Single room Regenesys rate: R1 566 per night including breakfast and supper.
Double room per person Regenesys rate: R1 537 per night including breakfast and supper.

The Garden Court Morningside is situated on Rivonia Road, a short distance from both the Sandton and Rivonia amenities All rooms have an ensuite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, DSTV, digital safe, modem point and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has an outdoor pool, free secure parking and a French speciality restaurant, Chez Girard. Breakfast and supper are buffet meals or as indicated by the hotel. You may be provided meal vouchers or similar that will indicate the pre-paid value of your meal. There are numerous restaurants and shops at various malls between Sandton and Rivonia. An airport shuttle bus can be arranged with the hotel at your expense.

IMPORTANT: Check-in must be by 18h00 on the day of arrival. If you are unable to make this time, you must phone the hotel on 011 8841804 and inform them of your intended arrival time. Failure to notify the hotel and arrive after the check-in time may result in the booking being reallocated to another guest.

Garden Court Cancellations Policy

To avoid a 100% cancellation fee (one nights rate) from either hotel, cancellations must be confirmed with the hotel before 18:00 on the day of arrival.

The Don Suite Hotel, Sandton

Single occupancy Regenesys rate: R1 488 per night including breakfast and supper.
Double occupancy Regenesys rate: R2 491 per night including breakfast and supper.

The Don Sandton is on Rivonia Road, in Illovo. The Don is a suite hotel, giving you a fully contained, serviced and furnished apartment with bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchen. The Don is within walking distance of the Thrupps Centre and Illovo Square. English breakfast is offered at the Don and suppers arranged at one of the nearby quality restaurants.

The Don is a very cost effective solution for shared accommodation as the cost is per apartment (which has space to sleep at least four people). Sharing rates on application.

Cancellations:

The following only applies to bookings for a Regenesys course.

* If the apartment is cancelled before 12:00 on the day of occupation, no cancellation charge
* If the apartment is cancelled between 12:00 and 18:00 on the day of occupation, 50% of the rate is due
* If the apartment is cancelled after 18:00 on the day of occupation, 100% of the rate is due
